Unveiling the Latest Blacksmith's Portal Update

Hey there, Blacksmith’s Portal users! We’ve got some fantastic news for you. We’re thrilled to announce the release of our latest update, packed with exciting new features and quality-of-life improvements. Read on to learn more about what’s in store for you!

In this update, we’ve been hard at work to bring you enhancements that will streamline your experience and take the Blacksmith’s Portal to the next level. From improved navigation to new functionalities, we’ve listened to your feedback and incorporated changes that we believe will improve your user experience.

Updated Theme

In the latest update, we are proud to introduce a modern and updated theme that will completely transform the look and feel of the Blacksmith’s Portal. Our design team has worked tirelessly to create a sleek, contemporary aesthetic that not only looks great but also enhances the overall user experience. With a clean and intuitive interface, the updated theme brings a sense of modernity and sophistication to the portal, making navigating easier and more enjoyable. Whether you’re accessing the portal on a desktop, tablet, or mobile device, the new theme ensures a seamless and visually appealing experience across all platforms. We’re excited for you to explore the updated theme and experience Blacksmith’s Portal in a whole new light!

With these changes, the start/stop buttons are available on all pages. There is a new dashboard page to get all your server information and health in one place. The side navigation menu has been updated to make it easier to find the pages you need.

Quality of Life Changes

 Localized time zone

We are thrilled to introduce one of our most requested features: the ability to adjust the time zone for each user in the panel. You no longer need to calculate time zone differences mentally. Simply go to the settings page for your server and change the time zone to localize things like the next scheduled run date and the timestamps on your server logs.

Enhanced File Manager

We have made significant improvements to our file manager interface. The new design enhances navigation and access to various tools and introduces powerful search features. You can now quickly and efficiently locate the files and tools you need, ensuring a more productive and seamless user experience.

By default, the top tools bar now shows bulk file actions. You can quickly delete, move, or archive many files without using the prior floating popup.

The enhanced file search functionality will present a comprehensive list of files corresponding to the specified search query..

We’ve added a smart search feature that will scan all your files and display every line that matches your query. This is perfect for games with configuration files scattered throughout. However, depending on the number of files on your server, this process may take some time, so please be patient.

Minecraft Modpack Manager

The modpack manager for Minecraft has been updated to work more reliably. You will no longer experience any issues when installing fabric modpacks or forge forks. Everything now works smoothly. Additionally, we have added more providers for modpacks, including Modrinth and Voids Wrath.

Minecraft Plugin Manager

The Minecraft plugin manager has received an update with a new look and additional provider integrations. You can now link your Polymart account to install and update the plugins you purchased automatically.

Minecraft Version Manager

The Minecraft version manager has been updated with a new skin and backend provider. The old website maintaining the list of up-to-date jars is no longer functional after the person maintaining it passed away, so we have moved to a new API. You can now toggle to display or hide snapshots. Experimental releases are also labeled, so you know your risk level by using them.

Support Logs

Now it’s easier than ever to share your server console logs with our support team. On the console page, simply click the clipboard icon to upload your logs. Then, you can copy the link and paste it into your ticket.

New Features

Database Import/Export

You can now import and export your databases directly from the panel interface. This feature was requested by our users who were migrating from other providers and needed an easy way to import all their data.

Minecraft World Manager

You can now manage multiple worlds for your Minecraft server. We’ve also integrated Curseforge so you can download your favorite premade worlds, such as Skyblock, Lucky Blocks Races, and other cool builds.

Minecraft Templates

AleForge staff have worked diligently to introduce a comprehensive range of Minecraft server templates, designed to simplify and enhance the process of setting up and managing your Minecraft server. These templates cover a diverse array of gameplay styles, from survival and creative to minigames and role-playing, providing users with a convenient and efficient way to launch their desired Minecraft server configuration. Whether you’re looking to create a bustling economy server, an immersive adventure map, or a competitive PvP environment, AleForge’s meticulously crafted templates offer a solid foundation to kickstart your Minecraft server with ease. Each template is curated and optimized by our team to ensure seamless integration and high performance, empowering server owners to focus on fostering engaging gameplay experiences for their community.

Minecraft Alpha & Beta Versions

Explore the vintage Alpha and Beta versions of Minecraft with ease using this amazing template! It includes a functional Minecraft Alpha (version) and Minecraft Beta (version) along with easy-to-follow guides to help you set up your Minecraft Client to experience these epic versions. Get ready for a nostalgic trip down memory lane!

Little Guy in a Big Big World

Get ready to experience Minecraft in a whole new way! Play as a half-height character with modified stats to match, and immerse yourself in a world where you can build your very own ant colony with friends or engage in thrilling grassy hide-and-seek battles!

 Fishing World

The world has become submerged in water, so there’s only one thrilling option left - to become a master fisher! By using bamboo, you can craft a table and create a platform to spawn mobs using bone blocks and bamboo wood blocks. Our engineers even added a datapack that adds grass blocks to the fishing loot, allowing you to establish a platform to spawn passive mobs and wandering traders.

Superflat World

Get ready for an extraordinary adventure with this Superflat template! Brace yourself for bonus structures, including Pillager Outposts and Strongholds, that will spawn in the world, giving you the chance to journey to the End and conquer the game. Battle slimes, raid villages for resources, and kickstart your empire in a completely flat world!

Self Service Migrations

Users can now easily migrate their servers from any other provider using our new server importer tool. Our tool can connect to FTP and SFTP to automatically transfer all your saved data configurations to your new AleForge server.

To begin, go to the Settings page, click on “Import Server” under Server Importer, and then provide the requested information. By default, this action will delete any existing data on your server, but you can disable this feature using the toggle switch.

Firewall

Is a disruptive player attempting to access your server and causing issues? Have they been successful in circumventing your anti-cheat measures? No need to worry---our latest firewall tool allows you to block the IP address they are using to connect to your server.
