Yes. You can rent a dedicated Aloft server here instead of hosting from a PC. The islands stay online 24/7 so friends can join with the room code without a listen-server host.

A listen server goes offline when the host logs off, and you have to run PowerShell scripts and handle ports. A rented dedicated server keeps the world running, even when you are at work.

Aloft uses a 6-digit room code, not IP and port. Start the server in the Blacksmith's Portal, copy the code from the Console tab, then in-game open Multiplayer and enter the code.

Plans default to 8 players, which matches the game's dedicated-server playercount setting. You can change that from Startup in the panel, then restart.

The server deploys as soon as payment is processed. You get panel login details by email, start the server, then share the room code with your group.
