Combat
Makes enemies hit harder and take more damage to kill. Very Easy is good for build-heavy worlds; Very Hard if you want every swamp trip to matter.

Upload a .fwl file, change world modifiers,
and download the updated file. Processing stays in your
browser; nothing is uploaded.
Valheim stores world modifiers in the .fwl
file, separate from world data in the
.db file. If you picked the wrong difficulty
when creating a world, or want to dial raids up or down
later, you can edit the FWL instead of starting over.
This tool reads your file locally, lets you apply a preset
or change individual settings, and gives you a modified FWL
to drop back into
worlds_local. No account needed. See also our
other Valheim tools.

Multiplier on what you get from nodes and drops. Handy when you are past the grind and mostly building.
How often events like greydwarf raids fire. Turn it off if raids keep wrecking your base mid-project.
Portal items lets you carry ore and metal through portals. No boss portals blocks travel to boss arenas; No portals shuts them down entirely.
No build cost removes material requirements. Player based raids ties events to player activity. Passive enemies stops mobs from aggroing. No map hides the minimap.
AleForge hosts Valheim worlds if you would rather not manage the files yourself.
