Running a dedicated Palworld server usually means three chores: editing PalWorldSettings.ini, figuring out how much RAM your bases will burn, and sometimes moving a co-op world onto a machine that stays online. The server tools handle that. If you just want breeding odds or a type chart, jump straight to the game tools.
Dedicated servers read the OptionSettings line in
PalWorldSettings.ini, not the co-op
WorldOption.sav file. The settings generator imports
what you already have, flags heavy values like
BaseCampWorkerMaxNum, and gives you a clean line for
Linux or Windows.
Player count alone is a bad guide. Working Pals, conveyors, and mod packs stay in memory even when nobody is online, and dedicated server RAM tends to climb over long uptimes. The calculator factors bases, automation, mods, and leak headroom, then matches you to an AleForge plan with enough room.
The co-op host is always player ID โฆ0001. Dedicated
servers give each Steam account its own ID. Copy a world without
rewriting those GUIDs and you wake up on the beach as a new
character. The save converter patches Level.sav and
Players/*.sav in your browser. Files never leave your
machine.
Once the server is up, the game tools cover the rest: parent combos, mutation odds, passive skills like Legend and Artisan, type matchups, a five-Pal team builder, and staffing for all twelve base jobs.
Need a host for the world you're configuring?
