This tool uses 1.0 game data (v26). The game checks pairs in this order:
Two of the same Pal always hatch that Pal. For legendaries and a few specials, that's the only path. Catch the first pair in the wild.
Some exact pairings skip the formula. Example: Relaxaurus + Sparkit always makes Relaxaurus Lux. Katress × Wixen is the only gender-dependent pair (136 unique rows in the data).
Average the parents' hidden powers, then hatch the eligible Pal closest to that average. Most mixed pairs work this way.
Running this on a dedicated server?
Farms and incubators keep working while you're offline. Leave some RAM headroom if you automate a lot.

Get MasterworkEach Pal has a hidden breeding power. When two different species breed, the game averages those values and hatches the eligible Pal closest to that average. Unique combos skip that formula for specific pairings (Relaxaurus + Sparkit always makes Relaxaurus Lux). Two of the same species always produce that species.
Yes. It uses dataset v26 (updated 2026-07-15): 299 breedable Pals and 136 unique combo rows from current game data, via the open-source palcalc project.
Exact parent pairings that ignore breeding power and always produce a fixed child, usually an elemental variant (Lux, Cryst, Noct, Terra, Aqua, Ignis, Botan, Primo). Katress × Wixen is the only gender-dependent pair: the female parent decides between Katress Ignis and Wixen Noct.
Some legendaries and specials never show up from mixed pairs. Catch the first pair in the wild, then breed same-species for more. In Find parent combos, if you only see unique combos or the self-pair, you need a wild starter.
Add the Pals you already own and pick a target. The tool finds the fewest breed steps from your roster. Partners you still need show up as a list — click one to plan how to get it from the Pals you own, or mark I have this to add it to your roster. Paths longer than 6 generations are treated as not found.
The Breeding Farm takes about five minutes per egg once Cake is stocked. Incubation takes longer and scales with egg size; in Palworld 1.0 the largest eggs default to around one hour. On a dedicated server, PalEggDefaultHatchingTime in PalWorldSettings.ini controls hatch time (0 is instant).
Every egg can mutate on its own (~1% base, ~3% with Deluxe Vegetable Cake). Mutated eggs look different in the farm and usually hatch Alpha with high IVs and rainbow passives. Use the mutation calculator for odds. This tool is for which species you get from a parent pair.
Lower PalEggDefaultHatchingTime in the server settings generator, run multiple Breeding Farms, keep Cake stocked, and incubate several eggs at once. Automated breeding uses a lot of RAM, so check the Palworld RAM calculator if bases stay busy while you're offline.
