Admin Password is required. Jagex treats it as a mandatory dedicated-server field. Anyone who types it on the in-game Server Management screen is an admin until you change the password.

This is not the world password players use to join. Do not reuse those two values. Unlike Palworld (/adminpassword) or Icarus (/AdminLogin), Dragonwilds has no chat command for admin.

Set the password in the Blacksmith Portal

1. Open the Blacksmith Portal and select your Dragonwilds server
2. Stop the server. Config written while it is running is thrown away
3. Open Startup and set Admin Password if that field is listed
4. Or open Files → Config Files, edit DedicatedServer.ini, and set AdminPassword=. Steps: How do I Edit My Servers Config Files
5. Save, then start the server

The file lives at RSDragonwilds/Saved/Config/Linux/DedicatedServer.ini or .../LinuxServer/DedicatedServer.ini.

Enter it in-game

1. Join the world
2. Press Esc to pause
3. Open Settings
4. Select the Server tab (Server Management)
5. Paste the admin password and confirm

You stay an admin until the password changes. There is no per-player admin list. To drop someone’s admin access, stop the server, set a new Admin Password, and start again. Then share the new password only with people who should have it.

DedicatedServer.ini also records who has successfully used the admin password. You can open that file in Files if you need to see that history. Do not edit ServerGuid.

Owner vs admin

Owner ID is your Player ID. That person can ban and unban online or offline. Password admins can ban regulars who are currently online and cannot unban.

Can I grant admin from the panel console?

No. Set the password in config, restart, then authenticate in the game client.
