Owner-ID auf dem RuneScape: Dragonwilds-Server setzen

Jagex requires an Owner ID on every dedicated server. It is your RuneScape: Dragonwilds Player ID, not your Steam ID, Jagex account email, or the admin password. Without it the server will not start cleanly and will not show on the Public list.

The owner is a different role from people who only know the admin password. Matching Player ID is what grants owner powers (including ban and unban for online or offline players).

Copy your Player ID in-game

1. Launch RuneScape: Dragonwilds
2. Open Settings
3. Find Player ID at the bottom of that menu
4. Use the copy button so you do not mistype it

Set Owner ID in the Blacksmith Portal

1. Open the Blacksmith Portal and select your Dragonwilds server
2. Stop the server. Live config edits are discarded
3. Open Startup and paste the Player ID into Owner ID if that field is listed
4. Or open Files → Config Files, edit DedicatedServer.ini, and set OwnerId= to the same value. Steps: How do I Edit My Servers Config Files
5. Save, then start the server

On disk the file is under RSDragonwilds/Saved/Config/ in either Linux or LinuxServer, as DedicatedServer.ini. The Config Files editor is the usual way to change it. Do not edit ServerGuid.

Owner vs admin vs player

Sharing the admin password does not make someone the owner. Only the Player ID in OwnerId does.

Frequently Asked Questions

The server still will not list after I set Owner ID

Confirm the value is the in-game Player ID, the server was stopped while you saved, and Server Name, Default World Name, and Admin Password are also filled. Then search Public for the loaded world name: How do I join my RuneScape: Dragonwilds server?.

Can I set more than one Owner ID?

No. Dedicated servers use a single OwnerId. Additional moderators use the admin password.
