Fix Palworld Lag, Rubber-Banding, and High CPU

Palworld dedicated servers are heavy, and current builds behave largely like a single-threaded workload. Buying more cores (including Premium) often does not fix lag by itself.

  1. Apply the Startup tweaks in How Can I Optimize My Palworld Server?
  2. Lower player count, base size, and wild Pal density if the world is huge
  3. Remove UE4SS / fragile mods and test on Vanilla (see installing mods)
  4. Confirm players are direct-connecting (play.aleforge.net:PORT), not relying on the in-game browser

Edit rates and options on Startup with decimals (for example 1.0), then restart.

If the panel shows hard CPU spikes and the server rubber-bands with few players, multithreading on the host can make things worse for Palworld. That switch is not a customer Startup option. Open a ticket with your server ID and ask staff to review multithreading for your node.

The panel memory graph can include page file / swap, so usage may briefly show over your plan RAM (for example 6.25 / 6). That alone is not always a bug. Upgrade RAM if the server OOMs, crashes, or rolls back: Upgrading Your Service.
