How to Order a Pay-as-You-Go Game Server
Starting a new flexible hosting environment with AleForge is simple. You can initiate your order directly from a specific game page or by utilizing our advanced configurator. In both flows, you will define your server’s maximum resource limits and pay using your account credit.
Steps to Order Your Server
Section titled “Steps to Order Your Server”- Select Your Plan: On any supported game page, choose the Hourly tab and select a base plan.
- Configure Resource Limits: Set your maximum limits for RAM, CPU, disk space, databases, and backup slots. You can easily scale these up or down later. These are the maximum resources you allow your server to use.
- Choose a Location: Select your preferred data center. Pay-as-you-go hosting is offered in the exact same locations as our Master plans.
- Continue directly to checkout.
Checkout Requirements
Section titled “Checkout Requirements”To successfully provision a pay-as-you-go server, checkout requires your account to have enough credit to cover 24 hours of usage at your selected limits.
If you have a new account, or an existing account with less than $1 in remaining credit, the system will generate a $5 credit invoice. Once you pay this initial invoice, the $5 credit is deposited into your account, and your server will immediately be created.
Note: Promotional codes are not applicable to pay-as-you-go plans.
