Vintage Story Server Commands
Use these commands from the Blacksmith’s Portal Console page, or in-game chat when you have admin privileges. For promoting players, see add and remove admins.
How to run commands
Section titled “How to run commands”- Open the Blacksmith’s Portal and select your Vintage Story server
- Go to
Console - Enter the command and press Enter
Use /help in-game or on the console for the engine’s built-in command list.

Change many live server settings temporarily |
For lasting admin settings on AleForge (name, description, password, public listing, whitelist mode, PvP, max clients, startup commands, and more), use the Startup page instead of /serverconfig. Startup values are written into serverconfig.json on every start and will overwrite temporary console changes for those fields.
