Palworld Settings or Admin Password Not Applying (WorldOption.sav)

Panel Startup settings should control a dedicated Palworld server. If rates, passwords, or other options ignore Startup after you upload a world, a WorldOption.sav file in the save is usually overriding the panel.

  1. Edit options on Startup only
  2. Use decimals (for example 1.0, not 1)
  3. Restart the server

Do not edit PalWorldSettings.ini expecting it to stick. Startup regenerates those values.

Full option list: How Do I Change Palworld Server Settings?

  1. Go to the AleForge Panel
  2. Stop the server
  3. Open Files
  4. Go to Pal/Saved/SaveGames/0/
  5. Open your world folder (long UUID name)
  6. Look for WorldOption.sav (sometimes shown as WorldOptions.sav depending on the tool)

That file often arrives with an uploaded single-player, co-op, or third-party dedicated save.

If you want panel Startup to win:

  1. Download WorldOption.sav as a backup
  2. Rename it to WorldOption.sav.old (or move it out of the world folder)
  3. Confirm your desired values on Startup (including admin password)
  4. Start the server and test in-game

Some options (Hardcore / Pal Lost / Randomizer) need a WorldOption.sav in the world folder. If you need those features, keep the file and edit settings by replacing that file when you change them. Startup alone will not drive those options while the file is present.
