How to Switch to Conan Exiles Enhanced

Conan Exiles Enhanced is a separate Game Swap install from standard Conan Exiles. After switching, old config and the wrong port often make the server disappear from the in-game browser.

  1. Go to the AleForge Panel
  2. Stop the server
  3. Take a Backup (or download your world/config) if you want to keep data
  4. Note your current game port and query port on Startup
  1. Open Settings
  2. Choose Conan Exiles Enhanced (name may appear as Conan Enhanced / Conan Exiles Enhanced in the list)
  3. Prefer Wipe Server Files when moving between standard and Enhanced unless you are following a known migration path for your save
  4. Apply the change and wait for the install to finish

Do not click Start or Swap repeatedly while it restores. If it stays locked, see stuck restoring or installing.

Game Swap overview: How do I use Game Swap?

Enhanced expects its own config layout. Do not paste an old standard Conan ServerSettings.ini / Engine setup and expect the browser to work.

  1. After install, open Files and use the config files shipped with the Enhanced install
  2. Set server name, password, and admin password on Startup where those fields exist
  3. Restart the server from Console

In-game admin settings still follow: How to Configure your Conan Exiles Server

The in-game browser lists servers by query port, not only the game port.

  1. Open Startup
  2. Note Query Port
  3. Confirm the server name on Startup matches what you search for
  4. Uncheck browser filters that hide modded, VAC-off, or passworded servers
  5. Restart, wait a minute, then search again

Connect steps: How to connect to your Conan Exiles Server

If you add the server in Steam Favorites, use play.aleforge.net:QUERY_PORT (query port from Startup).

  1. Confirm the process is running on Console with no crash loop
  2. Confirm you are on the Enhanced Game Swap install, not standard Conan
  3. Send your server ID and Startup ports via Contact Us
