How to Delete a Pay-as-You-Go Game Server
Deleting a pay-as-you-go game server is an immediate and permanent action. Once deleted, the server’s files are permanently removed and cannot be restored. Any prepaid credit remaining on your account stays securely in your balance for future use; it is not refundable.
If you believe you might want to return to your game world later, we recommend stopping the server instead of deleting it. For details on how this preserves your data, read What Happens When I Stop My Server.
Save a Copy Before Deleting
Section titled “Save a Copy Before Deleting”You must download any world files or configurations you wish to keep before you initiate the deletion. While the server is still actively running, you can download a folder or set up a final backup. You absolutely cannot download or retrieve files once a server is suspended or deleted.
Steps to Delete the Server
Section titled “Steps to Delete the Server”- Log in to the AleForge Client Area.
- Open Services -> Usage Billing and select the server you wish to remove.
- Click on Delete server.
- Confirm your choice.
The server is deleted the moment you submit the request, as there is no end-of-billing-period option for pay-as-you-go plans.
