How to Change Your 7 Days to Die Server Name
Your server name is what shows in the multiplayer browser. It is not the same as world name, which picks which save file loads.

Mixing these up is a common support ticket. Changing the server name does not reset your map.
Change the server name
Section titled “Change the server name”- Open the AleForge Panel
- Stop the server on
Console - Go to
Startup - Edit
Server Name— pick something unique so friends can search for it - Optionally update
Server Descriptionwhile you are there - Save and restart
The new name can take a minute to show in the browser. Direct connect via IP always works regardless of listing.
