ReCaptcha is not working

reCAPTCHA is implemented as a security measure to verify the legitimacy of an account, or that an attempted payment is valid. If it’s not working correctly for you, here’s how to troubleshoot it.

What If I’m Not Able to See the reCAPTCHA?

Section titled “What If I’m Not Able to See the reCAPTCHA?”

If you’re seeing an error message where the reCAPTCHA should be, try going back in your browser and re-entering your payment information to complete the purchase.

If you see the error again, check the following:

  • Make sure JavaScript is enabled. reCAPTCHA requires it to work. See this guide if you need help enabling it for your browser.
  • Disable any browser extensions or add-ons, especially anything that blocks requests to Google’s servers. Since reCAPTCHA is a Google service, privacy or ad-blocking extensions (such as Ghostery) are a common cause of this issue.

You can also try a different browser entirely, to see if the same error appears there.

If the error still occurs across multiple browsers, the issue may be with your current network connection rather than your browser. Some regions or networks automatically block Google services. Try switching to a different connection (such as mobile data, or a different Wi-Fi network) and completing checkout again.

Check out Google’s reCAPTCHA Help Center for more information and additional troubleshooting steps.
