How do I back up my Return to Moria server?

Your Return to Moria world saves live in Moria/Saved/SaveGamesDedicated on the server. Back up before uploading saves, enabling Durin’s Folk on an existing world, or making major config changes.

Automated backups (recommended)

1. Open the Blacksmith’s Portal
2. Follow How do I set up an automated backup of my server?

Manual backup

1. Open the Blacksmith’s Portal
2. Stop your server
3. Go to Files
4. Navigate to Moria/Saved/SaveGamesDedicated
5. Select your .sav files and download them

World saves start with MW_ and use the .sav extension.

Restore a backup

1. Stop your server
2. Upload the .sav file to Moria/Saved/SaveGamesDedicated
3. Set World Name on Startup to the filename without .sav
4. Start your server
