Server Will Not Start: Empty Files or Missing Game Files

If the server will not start and Files looks empty or is missing the usual game folders, the install was deleted or never finished.

Reinstall the game files

1. Go to the AleForge Panel
2. Stop the server (use Force Stop if Stop hangs)
3. Open Settings
4. Click Reinstall Server
5. Wait for the install to finish, then start the server

Reinstall restores the game binaries. It does not recreate a deleted world by itself.

Restore a world after reinstall

1. Open Backups and restore a backup that still has your world, or
2. Re-upload your save if you have a local copy

Palworld-specific notes: upload world, empty SaveGames after wipe

Do not thrash Game Swap

If you are mid-restore or mid-install, do not keep swapping games. See stuck restoring or installing.

Still broken

Contact support with your server ID. Include whether Files is empty and whether Reinstall was already tried.
