How to Upload Your Enshrouded World
You can upload a local Enshrouded world to your AleForge dedicated server. Character progress stays on each player’s client; the server holds the world.
Find your local world
Section titled “Find your local world”Typical Steam path:
Steam/userdata/<YOUR_STEAM_ID>/1203620/remote/
Worlds use fixed hex names. Slot 1 is usually 3ad85aea. Sort by date modified if you have more than one.
Copy the world file set (main file plus any _info / -index companions) to a backup folder on your computer.

Upload to AleForge
Section titled “Upload to AleForge”The dedicated server loads slot 1 from the savegame folder. That file must be named 3ad85aea.
- Go to the AleForge Panel
- Stop the server
- Open Files →
savegame - Download or rename the existing
3ad85aeafiles if you want a backup of the current server world - Upload your local world files into
savegame - If your world was not already slot 1, rename the uploaded files to
3ad85aea(keep any suffixes such as-index) - Start the server

If a new world loads instead
Section titled “If a new world loads instead”- The file must be named exactly
3ad85aea(no extra extension) - It must sit directly in
savegame, not inside another folder - Stop the server before replacing files
