Editing serverconfig.xml
Section titled “Editing serverconfig.xml”For options not on Startup:
- Stop the server
- Open
File Manager→serverconfig.xml - Edit the property you need, save, and start the server
Useful properties:
ServerPassword— also set via private server / password guideServerVisibility—0public,1friends only,2invisible (direct connect only)ServerPort— leave default unless you know you need a custom portTelnetEnabled— remote console access (off by default); preferTelnet PasswordonStartup— see telnet guideTelnetPassword/TelnetPort— only edit here if not exposed onStartup
Do not hand-edit GameWorld, GameName, or world gen values here if the same fields exist on Startup — the panel values win on boot.
