How to Connect to your Core Keeper Server

You can join your Core Keeper dedicated server, or invite friends to it, using a Game ID. The Game ID is required to connect to a dedicated server, so find it first and share it with the players you want to invite.

Finding Your Game ID

There are two ways to find your Game ID.

Option 1: Check the Console

When the server first boots, it prints the session ID in the console. Look for a line like this:

Started session with Game ID keqiNvDmdHaPG3cVLwiqjjGNNvI5

The code at the end of that line is your Game ID.

The Game ID above is an example only. Your server will have its own unique ID.

Option 2: Check the Server Config File

Open the ServerConfig.json file at the following path and look for your Game ID:

/home/container/.config/unity3d/Pugstorm/Core Keeper/DedicatedServer/ServerConfig.json

Joining With the Game ID

Once you have the Game ID, follow these steps to join the server:

1. Launch Core Keeper.
2. Click Join Game.
3. Enter your Game ID and connect.

Share the same Game ID with your friends so they can follow these steps and join too.
